Project Overview
*Proposed Lesson Topic: Cold War
*Grade Level: this lesson would be presented in a junior or senior US History class
*Utah Core Cirriculum Standard: Students will understand the United States’ domestic and international position in the Cold War era.
*Technology: students will use the internet, power point and cameras to make a presidential campaign add that would have been viewed in the Cold War era
*Example: I'll give suggestions and provided clips of acutal advertisements of the era
*Assessment: students will be graded on creativity, length, props, authenticity.

This sounds like it will work out well. I think you misunderstood the meaning of example. The "example" is what you would produce were you the student. So you will be creating the power point with pictures and internet resources. Clips of actual advertisements would be great too, though.
